A very nice opportunity for our customer to gain experiences in how to use 5G. Possible to expand up to 20 radio units. RADIO UNITS The solution from Airspan, the Airvelocity 2700 is a very compact, feature-rich, easy-to-Install, Sub-6 GHz RU. The Airspan OpenRANGE06 AirVelocity 2700 (RU) provides 5G-NR Sub-6 GHz indoor coverage. Meeting the demand for indoor connectivity, it is an ideal and powerful solution to deliver a superior network access experience, boosting throughput to speeds of over 2 Gbps. It supports O-RAN split 7.2x for deployment flexibility in an open interface architecture. Built using microservices methodologies, Fusion Core is deployable within private, public or hybrid compute clouds. Raemis™ Core from Druid Software Druid’s solution are built on its Raemis™ technology platform. Raemis™ is a set of cellular software assets crafted by Druid’s engineers and optimised for business use cases. Firefly Wallet On April 21st the IOTA Foundation released the all-new Firefly Wallet for the upcoming Chrysalis (IOTA 1.5) network. The Firefly Wallet will replace the old Trinity Wallet and comes with some interesting features. From the beginning the wallet will support the reusable addresses and also the new Stronghold feature. Stronghold will secure sensitive actions like address generation and transaction signing in an isolated application memory. The wallet is written in Rust and is built in a modular design, which makes it flexible for further developments in future. With the new Chrysalis network, the foundation is doing the first step towards the fully decentralized IOTA 2.0 (Coordicide). “Based on Chrysalis developed features will need just small changes for Coordicide”, stated the foundation. So, the Chrysalis network for example already comes with the UTXO model and a new Ed25519 standards-based signature scheme, which makes the integration into already existing solutions much easier. Today we are proving to the contrary. Our teams did it. We carried out the first Microsoft Teams call via our Stand Alone 5G Open-RAN setup. Of course, we don't want to keep the success to ourselves: The installation of the first stand-alone 5G Open-RAN testbed is taking place at our first customer as we write these lines.
