About Hacktoberfest:
Hacktoberfest is an annual event organized by DigitalOcean that encourages people to contribute to open source projects during the month of October. The goal is to support open source projects that are often maintained by small teams with limited resources. The event promotes learning and improving skills and celebrates the community around open source. This year marks the 11th year of Hacktoberfest, sponsored by DigitalOcean, Cloudflare and Quira. Every year, thousands of participants, programmers and non-programmers alike, attend to support the projects they use, develop new skills and meet like-minded people.
