Support for the project 5G Bavaria siticom provides the platform for the cellular campus network in the 5G Bavaria project. THE CHALLENGE. Siticom GmbH, an independent system integrator since 2010, is installing a self-sufficient 5G standalone campus solution at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS in Nuremberg and Erlangen. This project is part of the '5G Bavaria' initiative, funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy, and Technology. The initiative provides companies with opportunities to simulate and test new functionalities in a 5G context, transitioning from research to industrial applications. Siticom's open 5G Stand Alone Campus solution, based on cloud-native architecture, allows companies to implement and test digital applications with open interfaces.
